- What is the CPU clock frequency?
The CPU clock frequency is the highest theorethically possible number of instructions the CPU can execute per second.
The CPU clock on the supported Sony CLIE devices is set to 200 Mhz by the manufacturer, and the Palm Tungsten C and Tungsten T3 is set to 400 Mhz.
With Lightspeed you can change the CPU clock to as high as 600 Mhz and as low as 33 Mhz.

- What is the system bus and the Bus clock?
The system bus is the data highway where data travels to/from the different parts on the device. From RAM to Screen, from RAM to the CPU core etcetera.
The Bus clock frequency is the rate that data travels on the system bus. A low Bus clock is a huge bottleneck on overall performance.
The Bus clock on the supported Sony CLIE devices is set to 50 Mhz, by the manufacturer.
With Lightspeed you can change the bus clock to as high as 150 Mhz - an increase of 200 %.
The Bus clock on the Tungsten C and Tungsten T3 is normally set to 100 Mhz. With Lightspeed you can set it as high as 265 Mhz, and as low as 16 Mhz.
